Program Overview

The master's degree in computer science imparts scientifically based, analytical and creative skills for new and further development of the software and hardware of basic computer systems and complex application systems. In addition, the understanding of basic concepts of information processing should be promoted. Building on a successful degree, the students should acquire in-depth specialist knowledge, which enables them to use scientific methods and findings for complex IT problems both in practice and in research. Another goal of the course is sound preparation for access to a doctorate.
