Program Overview

In order to be able to design IT artifacts in their interweaving with human action, basic skills in the field of interaction techniques, especially for mobile and ubiquitous applications, interface design, user-oriented design processes and methods, usability standards and qualitative analysis methods must be taught. This core content should be complemented by compulsory elective modules or modules of free choice from the areas of business administration, business informatics, computer science, media studies, media law as well as cultural studies and sociology. Due to the large number of research activities in the field of human-computer interaction ongoing at the University of Siegen, a close practice-oriented connection between research and teaching is guaranteed
