The MSc in Data Analytics is an 18-month postgraduate program focusing on data analytics, offered at the Berlin Campus of BSBI. This course not only equips students with essential knowledge in the data analytics field but also instills the skills and confidence needed to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.

BSBI's partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) enables them to provide the MSc in Data Analytics. UCA is a renowned creative institution in the UK, highly ranked in all three major UK league tables. In the Guardian League Table 2020, the university secured the 13th position among all UK universities, and in the 2021 Guardian League Tables for Business, Management & Marketing, it was ranked 7th.

Age Requirement: At least 21 years old.

Academic Qualifications:

  1. Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.

OR

  1. Consideration will be given to applicants with a minimum of 3 years of relevant managerial work experience, demonstrating their ability to study at the postgraduate level.

English Language Requirements:

Applicants need to meet one of the following English proficiency criteria:

  1. Official English Tests:

    • IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

    • Password test: Minimum overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

    • PTE (Academic): Minimum overall score of 56 with a minimum of 51 in each component.

    • TOEFL IBT: Minimum overall score of 80 with minimum scores of 17 (Listening), 18 (Reading), 20 (Speaking), and 17 (Writing).

    • Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency: Minimum overall score of 69 with at least 162 in each component.

    • LanguageCert International ESOL SELT: Minimum B2 Communicator High Pass with at least 33 in each component.

    • Duolingo test: Overall score of 105.

  2. West African Certificates (WAEC AND NECO only): Accepted as a stand-alone with a minimum of C6 in English, issued within the last 5 years. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is also accepted with an overall grade of C or above. For Tanzania and Cameroon, an IELTS (or equivalent certificate) is required.

  3. WAEC/NECO must be enhanced by a successful (50%+) Internal English Assessment if issued more than 5 years ago.

  4. Applicants with an overall score meeting the required threshold but having an insufficient score in one component (e.g., 5.0 instead of 5.5) can take an English diagnostic test online. Students based in Germany can also sit for an internal assessment free of charge, with a passing rate of 50%+.

  5. Exceptions:

    • No need to prove English proficiency if you have completed a qualification equivalent to a UK degree in majority English-speaking countries, such as Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, UK, USA.

Additionally, if you have completed a Bachelor's Degree in one of the majority English-speaking countries within the last two years or achieved a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university where the method of instruction was entirely in English (teaching and assessment), English proficiency verification is not required.
