Data Science is the science of extracting knowledge and information from data and competences in both statistical and computer-based data analysis. The elite program Data Science is an interdisciplinary program and is carried out by the Department of Statistics and the Institute for Informatics at LMU Munich. The program is part of and supported by the Elite Network of Bavaria.

A first university degree (Bachelor or equivalent), An officially certified copy of your university entrance qualification in original language, An officially certified translation if the original document was not issued in German or English, A copy of your identity card, Proof of a recognized health insurance, Updated CV, Submit proof of your language skills, Letter of admission for the master s degree program from the coordinator of the degree program (can be handed in later during registration), Evidence of all courses completed to date, TOEFL (internet based: minimum score B2: 90 / C1: 95 / paper based), IELTS (minimum score B2: 5.5 / C1: 7.0), Goethe-Zertifikat (B2: TDN 3)
