Program Overview

Following on from an initial academic qualification for work in the professional field (see restricted admission), the Master's degree program intends to impart the specialist knowledge required for a more scientifically oriented career in the chosen subjects of biology and medicine, as well as the ability to process scientific results and communicate them appropriately in English. On the one hand, the aim of the Master's program in Biomedicine is to provide specialist knowledge in the field of biology (advanced knowledge in Biochemistry and bioinformatics), and, on the other hand, to develop competence in the theory of internal medicine/pathophysiology as well as in various fields of theoretical medicine. A strong focus will be placed on the Immunology, Neurobiology and Neuroimmunology
