The MA English Studies is a four-semester English language programProgram. The subjects of English Studies are the languages, literatures and cultures of Great Britain and Ireland as well as other anglophone countries and religions. The study focuses on the analysis of the various manifestations of English contemporary language, the history of the English language, the cultures and literatures of Great Britain and Ireland, and other Anglophone countries and regions.

A first university degree (Bachelor or equivalent), An officially certified copy of your university entrance qualification in original language, An officially certified translation if the original document was not issued in German or English, A copy of your identity card, Proof of a recognized health insurance, Updated CV, Submit proof of your language skills, Letter of admission for the master s degree program from the coordinator of the degree program (can be handed in later during registration), Evidence of all courses completed to date, TOEFL (internet based: minimum score B2: 90 / C1: 95 / paper based), IELTS (minimum score B2: 5.5 / C1: 7.0), Goethe-Zertifikat (B2: TDN 3)
