Program Overview

Students of Eastern European Studies choose a major and one or two supplementary subjects at one of the two participating universities. The course includes participation in an international summer school organized by the course. The acquisition and deepening of language skills in one or more Eastern European languages also for native speakers of an Eastern European language as well as a minimum one-month internship in Eastern Europe - or related to Eastern Europe - are also a mandatory part of the course. The conclusion is a master's or master's thesis 60-80 pages and an oral examination 60 minutes in the main subject.
