The Masters degree in German Studies is an academic degree that gives students the qualifications for working life or, after a further degree, to pursue a career at a university. The Masters degree in German Studies is designed to follow and build on the academic skills acquired during the Bachelors degree and is substantially research-based. The objective is to introduce students to the current areas of research within the institute and to provide them with the skills to complete a Masters thesis that tackles issues in the context of a research project at a high academic level or that develops students' knowledge and abilities for independent practice-based and accompanying research.

Undergraduate degree usually a Bachelors degree, Students should have a strong interest in German language and literature in particular. School-leaver knowledge of the structure and function of the German language and German orthographic rules are essential for success on the course, as well as the knowledge of the subject acquired in the preceding Bachelors degree, Attested copies of your educational background certificates such as from secondary school, university entrance exams, academic records of prior university semesters and other university reports and diplomas, proof of pre-check of the German embassy, complete curriculum vitae, an attested copy of your certificate of sufficient German language skills, attested German or English transcripts of all your documents, proof of paid fee for UNI-ASSIST
