The Masters degree in German Studies is an academic degree that gives students the qualifications for working life or, after a further degree, to pursue a career at a university. The Masters degree in German Studies is designed to follow and build on the academic skills acquired during the Bachelors degree and is substantially research-based. The objective is to introduce students to the current areas of research within the institute and to provide them with the skills to complete a Masters thesis that tackles issues in the context of a research project at a high academic level or that develops students' knowledge and abilities for independent practice-based and accompanying research.
