ME German Studies as Technical Education

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Leibniz University of Hannover

Program Overview

In the Master's degree programme, the subject of German Studies encompasses 28 credit points. All students take a course to prepare them for their Practical Training as well as two weeks of practical training at a school in which emphasis is placed on the planning, organisation, reflection and assessment of teaching and learning processes. In the compulsory elective area, students then take a literary studies module and a linguistics module. The aim of these two modules is to expand on the specialist knowledge and skills acquired during the Bachelor's degree programme and to enable students to select their own areas of specialisation.
