Program Overview

The Practical Training module prepares students for teaching the subject of German and broaches the issue of fundamental experiences with regard to the teaching of specialised subject content. Students acquire a sound knowledge of positions relating to teaching the subject and structuring approaches, and are able to represent them in a substantiated manner and develop target prospects for their lessons. During practical training at school, students get a first idea of the demands placed on the teaching profession. In the process, they should acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills required to plan, deliver and assess subject teaching.
