"The predominantly application-oriented master's degree German as a foreign language prepares students for the profession of ""German as a foreign language teacher for adults in Germany and abroad. It is aimed at students who are pursuing this career aspiration and also aims to train and support young academics in the field of foreign language didactics and language teaching and learning research. The course was designed for students who have acquired a German or foreign Bachelors degree or an equivalent in German studies or a related course of study and can demonstrate sufficient German language skills to become a German as a foreign language teacher."
