Program Overview

The course enables a more research-based, methodologically well-reflected and conceptually in-depth study of linguistic, literary and cultural processes and phenomena among the Slavs. It is offered as a two-component course in either a combination of Russian and Polish studies or Russian and South Slavic studies. The students deal with problems of cultural contact, (cultural) translation and Slavic inter- and multiculturalism as well as comparative aspects of development processes in language, literature and culture.
