Program Overview

The aim of the interdisciplinary master's program Peace and Conflict Research is to provide you with analytical and practical qualifications in the field of peace and conflict research. This includes, in particular, the ability to analyze conflicts according to their subject, their course, their causes and actors and to be able to develop perspectives for pacifying, regulating or resolving conflicts. Contents of the course are political conflicts in world society. Methods such as role play and business games, scenario development, work in small groups, workshops and staging dominate in the courses. The study program includes, among other things, an international internship, English-language events, interdisciplinary research seminars and a transdisciplinary exercise in conflict management.
