Program Overview

The multidisciplinary English-language course Peace and Conflict Studies is carried out in cooperation with the University of Kent. The students spend one academic year each in Canterbury and Marburg and, upon successful completion, receive an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies joint degree from the Philipps University of Marburg and the University of Kent. The subject of the course are conflicts and peace processes in international change. The students acquire in-depth specialist knowledge of peace and conflict research and the ability to research and analyze conflicts in a national and international context, to develop options for conflict resolution and to participate in conflict management.
