BSBI has formed a valuable partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), enabling us to offer the MA Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management program. UCA is a renowned creative institution in the UK, garnering high rankings across all major UK league tables. The university's impressive accolades include being ranked 13th among all UK universities in the Guardian League Table 2020 and securing the 7th position in the 2021 Guardian League Tables for Business, Management & Marketing.

Minimum Age: 21

Academic Qualifications: Applicants must hold a robust undergraduate degree from a recognized university. In cases where the academic requirements are not met, candidates may undergo evaluation based on relevant work experience, provided they have at least 3 years of management experience.

English Language Requirements:

Official English Tests

  • IELTS: Minimum Overall Score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component)

  • Password Test: Minimum Overall Score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component)

  • PTE (Academic): Minimum Overall Score of 56 (with a minimum of 51 in each component)

  • TOEFL IBT: Overall Score of 80 (with minimum scores of 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking, and 17 in Writing)

  • Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency: Overall Score of 69 (with a minimum of 162 in each component)

  • LanguageCert International ESOL SELT: Overall Score B2 Communicator High Pass (with a minimum of 33 in each component)

  • Duolingo Test: Overall score of 105

Applicants who have attained a bachelor's degree or above* from a recognized university (according to ECCTIS UK), where the medium of instruction was entirely in English (teaching and assessment), must provide a Medium of Instruction Letter.

Canadian nationals who have completed a bachelor's degree at an English-speaking university must also submit a Medium of Instruction Letter.

Stand-alone West African Certificates (WAEC and NECO) are accepted with a minimum of C6 in English, issued within the last 5 years. The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is also accepted with an overall grade of C or above. For Tanzania and Cameroon, an IELTS (or equivalent certificate) is required.

If WAEC/NECO was issued more than 5 years ago, it must be enhanced by a successful (50%+) Internal English Assessment.

Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AICE certificates are considered valid qualifications.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma will be accepted if: English Syllabus A has a Standard or Higher Grade 4 or above, and English Syllabus B has a Standard Grade 5 or Higher Grade 4 or above.

Nationals of majority English-speaking countries who completed their academic qualifications in that country do not need to take an English test. This applies to Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, the UK, and the USA.

*An "above bachelor's degree" can be a postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, master's degree, etc.

Upon successful completion of the MA Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management program, you will have the opportunity to pursue various managerial positions within relevant organizations worldwide.
