The course deals with the history of the Greeks and Romans and those peoples who were in contact with them (traditional testimonies). The subject of the ancient history extends in time from the Mycenaean civilization of the 2nd millennium BC. to the migration of peoples. Research is geographically concentrated around the Mediterranean: from Spain to the Indus and from the borders of the Scottish Highlands to the Sahara region.
