The English-language master's program North American Studies deals with the complex literatures and cultures of North America, especially the USA and Canada, but also the Caribbean and Latin America, and provides interdisciplinary teaching and research work.Central aspects of the investigation are the multifaceted interculturality of the respective countries, which are analyzed with the help of newly developed methods and disciplines, including those that transcend national borders and borders. In addition to literature, you will gain insights into cultural phenomena such as TV series, films, images, music, but also into political and historical developments.
