The Digital Humanities deal with the use of digital methods in humanities disciplines. This includes the development of digital tools to support humanities work, the use of computer-aided and statistical methods to analyze cultural artefacts and to answer humanities questions, as well as reflection and exploration of the influence of digitization on culture and information behavior.

Additional Information & Requirements

University degree or equivalent degree with at least 6 semesters of standard study time or a comparable scope of study in a humanities or cultural studies subject with an average grade of at least 2.50; need English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference; the general higher education entrance qualification acquired in Germany is sufficient to demonstrate this knowledge, you must prove your degree-specific suitability by successfully completing an aptitude test, aptitude test consists of examining the documents you have submitted, Knowledge of English at level B2 GER Common European Framework of Reference, Foreign applicants must have German language skills in the form of the German language test for university admission DSH or an equivalent German test with an overall result of at least DSH-2.
