The master's program imparts cultural studies competence and media knowledge from different disciplines. In research and practice, students deal with media practices in globally networked and differentiated forms of society in order to be able to comment with an appropriate distance.The course is research-oriented and aims in particular to encourage students to carry out independent research work in the media sector on the basis of different scientific perspectives and methods. During their studies, students acquire the necessary qualifications to take responsibility for the media knowledge of our culture. The broad specialist education makes the graduates competent partners in all areas operating with media.
