Public Health is an independent, highly interdisciplinary, empirical science. In the foreground is not the individual health of a person, but the health of a population. Public health research and education addresses the conditions for health and the causes of disease, the interactions between humans and their natural, technical and social environments, health promotion and disease management, health system performance, and the ability to politically govern this system to evaluate and to ensure the quality.

A first university degree (Bachelor or equivalent), An officially certified copy of your university entrance qualification in original language, An officially certified translation if the original document was not issued in German or English, A copy of your identity card, Proof of a recognized health insurance, Updated CV, Submit proof of your language skills, Letter of admission for the master s degree program from the coordinator of the degree program (can be handed in later during registration), Evidence of all courses completed to date, TOEFL (internet based: minimum score B2: 90 / C1: 95 / paper based), IELTS (minimum score B2: 5.5 / C1: 7.0), Goethe-Zertifikat (B2: TDN 3)
