Program Overview

The Masters degree in Mathematics builds on the knowledge acquired during the Bachelors degree and looks more closely at the basic mathematical principles for the pathway chosen by students - either mathematics or engineering mathematics. The course is research-based and students learn to work and study independently and to explore new problems. A second subject in science or engineering is useful for a future career, as students then gain advanced knowledge of another subject, in addition to a solid practical knowledge of maths.

University degree in Mathematics has to be proven, At least 180 credit points gained in Mathematics during the first job-qualifying studies have to be proven, At least 18 credit points in the minor subject, German language has to be proven at the level C1, Native speakers are exempted from this obligation, Attested copies of your educational background certificates such as from secondary school, university entrance exams, academic records of prior university semesters and other university reports and diplomas, proof of pre-check of the German embassy, complete curriculum vitae, an attested copy of your certificate of sufficient German language skills, attested German or English transcripts of all your documents, proof of paid fee for UNI-ASSIST
