Additional Information & Requirements

Applicant should have undergraduate and graduate students of all German and foreign universities with a first degree in Islamic theology, Islamic studies or related religious and social sciences. It also requires knowledge of English (at least B2 of the CEFR), which must be proven by one of the following: TOEFL test (minimum score of 87 of the Internet-Based TOEFL (TOEFL iBT)), IELTS (at least 5.0 overall). Score), Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English Test (Grade A or B), Language Certificate of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) (minimum level (c) (corresponds approximately to Levels of Competences of the Council of Europe B2). Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Arabic (at least B2 of the CEFR). Another criterion is a performance average of at least 2.5 in the previous bachelor's degree.
