MEd in Catholic Theology or Religious Studies

Catholic Theology deals with the contents and the manifestations, as well as the history and the tradition, of the Christian faith as it is found in the biblical message and handed down and interpreted by the Church. The different approaches to the belief in one God, which are documented in the testimonies of Israel and the Christian Church, are examined using a number of different methods in accordance with present-day scientific disciplines (historico-critical method, methods of linguistics, literary, and cultural studies). The fundamentals of faith are studied and re-interpreted from the viewpoint of modern-day religious, philosophical, and social issues
