Saarland University

Program Overview

Students on the programme learn to apply advanced mathematical, computer-assisted and experimental methods to finding solutions to complex questions in biophysics. Graduates from the programme are in a position to solve the technical and scientific problems that arise at the boundary between physics and biology. Students acquire a broad general understanding of biophysics and neighbouring scientific disciplines while also having the opportunity to undertake specialist courses that enable them to develop a specific career profile. The curriculum of the M.Sc. programme includes modules in theoretical and experimental biophysics, as well as modules in selected non-biophysical subjects and key world-of-work skills.
