Program Overview

The program provides in-depth knowledge of microbiology, from molecular biology and physiology of microorganisms to infection biology and biotechnology. It teaches the basic principles of microbiology as well as dealing with various specialized areas of microbiology. An essential goal of the study program is the scientific examination and introduction to research, critical reflection, autonomy and self-responsibility of the students.

Additional Information & Requirements

Applicant should have Bachelor's degree in biology or related subject with a minimum grade of 2.5, German language skills (DSH2, B2 / C1, TestDaf4444), Certified copy of diploma certificate, Certified copy of list of certificates, Letter of motivation, CV in tabular format in English or German, DSH , at least with the overall result DSH 2 or TestDaF , in all partial examinations at least with the result 4 or 5 (level), Good command of English (at least level B2) in spoken and written is required, but need not be proven. Many courses are conducted in English. The literature for further studies is available almost exclusively in English
