The course is divided into a qualification module and three focus modules, which can be chosen from the various areas of biology biochemistry, bioinformatics, biophysics, botany / plant sciences, evolutionary biology and molecular ecology, genetics, microbiology, molecular human biology, molecular cell and developmental biology, neurobiology, ecology and conservation, zoology A specialization module can be replaced by an elective module bioorganic chemistry, human genetics, immunology, medical microbiology. In the qualification module, interdisciplinary and professional key qualifications are taught, in particular the presentation and discussion of scientific facts, the social relevance of biological research and subject-specific foreign language skills.
