MEd in Chemistry

The standard period of study is three years. In addition to Chemistry, the course also includes a second teaching subject, Educational Sciences, and compulsory teaching experience in schools. With a view to working in a school, graduates are taught to give lessons in chemistry in a competent and clear manner that is appropriate for the age of the pupils. Alongside lessons on the basic theoretical principles of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry, students also attend lessons on teaching methods and approaches.
