As early as the middle of the 19th century, archaeological specialist books were acquired at the Christian-Albrechts-Universit t zu Kiel (CAU). Today the Library of Classical Archeology, which, together with the specialist holdings of the university library, is one of the best-equipped classical-archaeological libraries in Germany, comprises around 25,000 volumes. If you are studying this wealth of knowledge and want to pursue your findings in many practical exercises, you have come to the right place in Kiel. For the joy of traveling and your curiosity about other cultures, regular excursions are offered.
