MA in American StudiesorAnglais

The integrated American Studies/Anglais Master's degree program offered by Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the French Universit de Bourgogne focuses on literature and cultural studies and provides extensive insight into the various forms of anglophone societies in the relevant literary, historical, political and cultural contexts. Participants will have the opportunity to conduct in-depth research into the tradition and diversity of anglophone literature, culture and languages. The program begins in Mainz, where specialized content will be explored to create a broad theoretical basis for research in Dijon, which will be supplemented by seminars on literary theory, among other things.
