Program Overview

The interdisciplinary master's program Politics and Economics in the Near and Middle East represents a combination of political science and economics for the region of the Near and Middle East that is unique in Germany. Following a technically relevant Bachelors degree, regional and language skills deepened and topics at the interfaces of politics and economy were developed and discussed in a research-oriented manner. The students should be interested in analyzing the socio-political conflicts in the Near and Middle East from an interdisciplinary perspective and in pursuing their own political-economic issues. Students who already have knowledge of economics.
