Program Overview

The English-language master's program Economics of the Middle East is designed as a combination of two components that is unique in this form: economic theories and methods combined with a detailed examination of the economies of the Middle East and North Africa region and in particular the Arab States. On the one hand, the modules offered as part of the course cover the central subject areas of a master's program in the field of economics micro- and macroeconomics, econometrics, specialized courses. On the other hand, different economic questions about the countries of the MENA region are dealt with in detail.
