The MSc in Psychology - Cognitive Processes and Technologies (Laurea Magistrale in Processi Cognitivi e Tecnologie) program is designed to provide advanced theoretical and methodological knowledge in psychology with an interdisciplinary focus. It explores the complexities of the mind-brain system, human-machine interaction, and social dynamics in novel environments.
The course takes an interdisciplinary perspective, combining cognitive and technological approaches. This integration allows students to gain deeper insights into human behavior, with a special emphasis on multimedia educational aspects and interactions between humans and machines.
The training path offers valuable experiences and substantial research periods in well-established laboratories specializing in multimodal interaction (e.g., cognitive interfaces, multimedia) to ensure the practical application of the acquired skills.
Age Requirement: Minimum 21 years old. Academic Eligibility: For direct access (standard cases), applicants must meet one of the following criteria: Hold a 3-year Bachelor's degree in Psychology from a recognized university. OR Possess a Bachelor's degree and have earned at least 90 ECTS credits in the following subjects: General Psychology Anatomo-physiological Foundations of Physic Processes Psychometry, Developmental Psychology Social Psychology Psychology of Work and organizations Dynamic Psychology Clinical Psychology English Language Requirements: To demonstrate English language proficiency, applicants should meet one of the following criteria: IELTS score of 6.0 or higher (with no component less than 5.5). Equivalent Password Test, PTE Academic with a score of 50+ (both in test centers and online accepted). TOEFL IBT or equivalent, such as TOEIC or Trinity's Integrated Skills in English (ISE) tests: ISE I (B1) for BAF with *Pass in each component. ISE II (B2) for all Master and BA courses with *Pass in each component. ISE III (C1) for DBA with *Pass in each component. English language proficiency requirements can be waived for: Native English speakers. Applicants who completed their education in English (e.g., high-school diploma or IB). Applicants who completed their undergraduate degree in English in an English-speaking country. Applicants with a Medium of Instruction letter for a qualification awarded within the last five years. Applicants from West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Gambia, and Sierra Leone) who can provide the West African Senior School Certificate (WAEC) as proof of English proficiency.
