Program Overview

The MSc introduces up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes plus applications of technology and quality tools and techniques to improve operations in an organisation. Participants will develop an understanding of the concepts of manufacturing systems engineering, product and process development with an awareness of strategic management and operations. The programme is designed for engineering graduates interested in manufacturing systems and operations management, and for engineers who want to make the transition to managers in engineering. It is also suitable for graduates with little or no work experience.
