The Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics [MA(AppliedLinguistics)] is designed for people who are currently teaching, or who want to teach, English at tertiary level. The focus of the course is therefore on issues relating to the teaching, learning and use of English as a medium of tertiary academic and professional education. Some modules in the course contribute to an understanding of English in all contexts, while others relate more specifically to the learning context in Hong Kong.
