The main aim of the Actuarial and Investment Science (AIS) specialism is to provide students with a solid foundation of actuarial and investment science. Graduates will become leading professionals in addressing business and societal problems that require the identification, quantification, assessment or management of the financial implications of risk. The programme provides graduate-level subjects with an emphasis on the advanced methodologies and techniques of actuarial and investment science that are useful to financial and actuarial professionals.
A Bachelor's degree with Honours in engineering, computer science, basic science, business, economics, or the equivalent (industrial or business experience will be an asset), Transcript / Certificateall relevant professional qualifications/examination results obtained, e.g. Society of Actuaries (SOA) examination results, (IELTS) score of at least 6.5 (all sub-scores should be at 6.0 or above); TOEFL ibT of 90
