Program Overview

With a master's degree in engineering in plastics and fiber technology, specialists apply and develop technological procedures in the plastics and textile industry, as well as in other industries that use this knowledge, design and manage complex technological systems, perform mid-production and final quality control, and perform environmental protection tasks. Plastics and fiber technology engineers can conduct basic and applied research and development related to material knowledge, plastic and fiber-forming polymer-based products, and complex chemical/physical technological processes. Engineering skills in plastic and fiber technology are also needed in packaging production, agriculture, trade, healthcare, national defense, disaster prevention and state administration.
