Program Overview

The master's program, which corresponds to the specialized bachelor's degree, aims to train professionals dealing with the two important and dynamically developing fields of environmental protection in Hungary. One of the emphasized areas is the rapidly developing area of waste generation, utilization, treatment and disposal requiring engineering knowledge. These include waste incineration and controlled waste decomposition processes, which are gaining more and more space in our country, biogas utilization, landfill operation, aftercare, monitoring, as well as the effects of environmental protection. The other is the high-quality program of hydrogeological, technical and technological knowledge related to the protection of groundwater, which also prepares for planning tasks, applied hydrogeology and the issue of the remediation of polluted areas closely based on it.
