Program Overview

The area of utilization of vocational qualifications in Hungary is those companies, business associations, research institutes and specialized authorities that deal with the exploration, management, planning and regulation of mineral raw materials. With the engineering knowledge acquired in addition to the knowledge of earth sciences, the students graduated here are employed at institutions specializing in the development, cultivation and supervision of applied earth sciences and raw material research technologies. These include, for example, domestic and foreign-owned companies conducting research into fossil energy carriers, metallic and non-metallic mineral raw materials, environmental technology design and construction companies, as well as environmental, nature and water authorities and municipalities.
