Program Overview

The MA course in Dutch Language and Culture Studies aims to train professionals in Dutch language1 as well as Dutch/Flemish literature1 culture and history1 who are able to use this language on an advanced level1 both in writing and speaking (level C2) and use it in their professions. Moreover1 they gain in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Dutch literature1 culture and history. The chief objective of the Department of Dutch Studies is to teach and research Dutch language1 literature and culture in its complexity. Dutch Studies embraces the language1 literature and culture of two countries: the Netherlands and Flemish Belgium.
