Program Overview

The purpose of the training is to train translators who professionally carry out the task of written and oral language mediation from a foreign language into Hungarian and from Hungarian into a foreign language. They can render the written or heard source language text accurately and linguistically correctly in the target language, and they know the ethical and rhetorical rules of linguistic mediation. They are informed about the political, economic, social and cultural life of the source and target language countries
