The training helps our students to develop analytical1 insightful thinking and to become more familiar with the philosophical concepts1 problems and methods that are the cornerstones of our culture. Our students receive personalized help in shaping their studies. The knowledge acquired with us can be used in many areas of life and the labor market.

The MA course offered by the Institute of Philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities is a two-year1 full-time program comprising four semesters. Students need to have some philosophical background -- a minimum of 30 credits as part of their BA studies. Students will have the opportunity to draw up their study and research programme under the supervision of a supervisor of their studies (in most cases different to their thesis supervisor).
