Program Overview

The M.S. (Research) programme will comprise of 15 credits of the course work and 36 credits of the research work. The 15 credits of course work should not include any component of minor project. In the first semester, the student has to register for a minimum of 09 and a maximum of 15 credits. In the first semester, the part-time students can only register for course work with minimum and maximum limits of 3 and 12 credits, respectively.

B.Tech. / M.Sc. or equivalent with a CGPA 6.00 on a 10 point scale or 60% marks in aggregate for General Category with (a) GATE score of 300 or qualifying score (b) GATE score of 200 or qualifying score whichever is higher for SC / ST / PD category. B.Tech. from IITs with CGPA of 8.00 without GATE are also eligible for admission. AMIE / Grad.; Copies of the qualification documents; Copy of the passport and visa; Original Medical Fitness Certificate; Original HIV Report ; Three passport size photographs; Copy of the offer letter issued by the Institute; Student visa for a period of five years.
