The discipline of Power Electronics encompasses a variety of fields within Electrical Engineering, and essentially, techniques in system-level modeling analyses, design, and integration of motor drives. M.Tech. in Power Electronics program culminates with a project work wherein students are needed to work on specific areas involving design, simulation, fabrication and testing of power electronics systems having research/industrial application, and power converter-based systems used for conversion of electric energy.
