The IEC group conducts two masters programs. The EEN program is part of the Electrical Engineering Department. The VDTT program is a fully sponsored interdisciplinary masters program. Both M.Tech and MS degrees are offered in both of the programs.

B.Tech. / M.Sc. or equivalent with a CGPA 6.00 on a 10 point scale or 60% marks in aggregate for General Category with (a) GATE score of 300 or qualifying score (b) GATE score of 200 or qualifying score whichever is higher for SC / ST / PD category. B.Tech. from IITs with CGPA of 8.00 without GATE are also eligible for admission. AMIE / Grad.; Copies of the qualification documents; Copy of the passport and visa; Original Medical Fitness Certificate; Original HIV Report ; Three passport size photographs; Copy of the offer letter issued by the Institute; Student visa for a period of five years.
