The Department of Commerce and Management Studies came into existence in 1934 by offering B.Com programme for the first time in South India. Further in 1957 the Department was the first to start the two-year MBA Full-time programme in India and produced talented executives for over five decades who have been occupying coveted positions in India and abroad.

A pass in - Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com) of study of A.U. or any other University recognized by the Academic Senate as Equivalent thereto.Candidates seeking admission into the course need to get qualified in AUCET, Candidates seeking admission into the course should have a obtained 3 years Bachelors Degree, Candidates who are joining Masters courses in Andhra University under FOREIGN QUOTA have to enclose two sets of photocopies of following documents:12 years of study at schooling level, Diploma certificate, Bachelors Degree Certificate with transcripts, Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate, Valid Passport of the student, Scholarship sanctioned letter, Demand Draft for US$50 or equivalent INR
