Active areas of research include organochalcogen chemistry, supramolecular assembly, study of electron transfer complexes and development of nanomaterials.

First Class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in B. Sc or equivalent degree in subjects related to Life Sciences/ Physics/ Chemistry OR B.Tech Biotechnology, a valid GATE score and JAM score.
