Program Overview

The need of embedding sustainability principles in the design of critical infrastructures has become essential to deliver innovative solutions which meet the requirements for achieving the future sustainable driving agenda, in particular, climate change and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.This course is designed to provide Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering graduates, and graduates from closely related disciplines, with specialised skills and knowledge in technical design for Sustainable Infrastructure. The course consists of 12 taught modules and a Research Project module, and focuses on sustainability, water engineering, numerical techniques, renewable and sustainable technologies and transport planning with options in advanced structural engineering.
