The curriculum in historical, theoretical and applied linguistics aims to provide a broad spectrum training on topics related to the study of language in general and of the Italian language in particular The historicallinguistic perspective, the study of the lexicon and the synchronic analysis of the Italian language and its varieties are studied in depth, through the philological, archival and IT tools that today characterize these disciplines It opens access to training courses for middle and high school teachers, but also allows work opportunities in the editorial, journalistic and cultural fields in general
