The Degree Course aims at advanced training in the field of philology and the history of the ancient world, with an extension to the archaeological and historical-medieval areas.It is divided into distinct paths both in the quantity of credits assigned to the characterizing subjects and in the choice among the related subjects.However, all the students of this Degree Course are primarily guided to deepen the fundamental subjects of the antiquities sector (Greek and Latin Languages and Literature, Classical Philology, Greek and Roman History, with lessons also in foreign languages), so that they acquire a solid preparation in these fundamental fields
