The programme introduces students to themain causes of human pathology and the modern diagnostic methods that aim to identify and prevent them and monitor the therapy applied to the clinical condition diagnosed. From this basic knowledge, the programmethen focuses on specific aspects: diagnostics: students learn the mostcommon analysis techniques based on biospecific reagents, methods ofmicrobiological diagnosis of infectious diseases, virology and parasitologydiagnostics, methodical approaches to analyse Mendelian and complex genetictraits and the advanced molecular diagnostic techniques applied to oncology,forensic methods.

A first cycle degree acquired in one of theclasses provided by Ministerial Decree 270/04, Ministerial Decree 509/99, Law508/99, or of a first cycle degree acquired under the previous system, or of abachelor degree awarded after three years of study, or of a foreignqualification recognised as suitable, Assessment test, Documents giving evidence of the level of proficiency in the required language (minimum B1 level), Language of the entrance University (French, Greek or Italian), CV, Motivation Letter, Letter of recommendations, Certificate of residence, IELTS and TOEFL scores
